Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is located on the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival. ZOR oversaw the design and approvals of this complex constructed on over 600 acres. The project required completely new infrastructure, equivalent to that of a small city. Construction of this complex includes an outdoor pavilion seating 4,500 under cover and an additional 10,000 plus seats on the lawn. The second phase of this project, the Museum at Bethel Woods, is all about the 1960's. ZOR was involved from the start, coordinating the design efforts of the base core and shell building with that of the exhibitry. During construction, we provided assistance to the on-site team and managed the project's budget and schedule.
