The Playhouse, which was originally housed in a historic barn, only allowed for programming during the summer. The scope of the project included modernizing the facilities so they could be utilized year-round. The required circulation space and back of the house area was created by constructing a new enclosure which surrounded the existing theatre. ZOR oversaw the completion of the design and managed the construction which included enhanced site lines and acoustics and provided a new HVAC system, dressing rooms, rehearsal space and administrative offices.
